What is the Safety Committee?

New Horizons has a Safety Committee to bring workers and management together to establish, promote, and maintain a safe, healthy workplace in accordance with state law.

The Safety Committee meets monthly to review safety incident investigations, talk about workplace hazards, provide input on incident corrective actions and look for ways to prevent injuries. The committee also helps share safety information and improve safety practices across the company.

Employees who are interested in participating in the Safety Committee are encouraged to contact the Safety Officer to learn more.
