Hello, My name is Robbie Helms and I am the Human Resources Supervisor at New Horizons. I would like to talk to you today about our veterans support system that we have in place.
We understand that veterans may have different care needs due to their military experiences. We work alongside the VA to provide services of up to 20 hours of paid home care for qualifying veterans who are in need of care.
As a veteran myself, it is comforting to know that those who have served before me are being matched with caregivers who are able to connect with these veterans and provide them with the care they deserve. All of our clients including our veterans are treated with the utmost dignity and respect throughout their time with us here at New Horizons.
New Horizons has been a tremendous employer to work for. They proudly employ many veterans including active duty reserve and national guard personnel. They value my military experience and provide me the flexibility in my schedule so that I can continue to serve my country as a reservist while still being employed with New Horizons without the fear or stress of trying to balance the two careers.
